What the frack is going on? Great way to communicate complicated science in context

Just saw this video today and thought it was wild.

It reflects graduate student work at Explainer.net, the interesting Journalism research project led by Jay Rosen at NYU. The idea behind the project, conducted in cooperation with Propublica, is to showcase “explainers” – the genre of journalism intended to provide “the essential background knowledge necessary to follow events in the news.”
